My award-winning wife.

Now that my long-malfunctioning site is behaving itself again, I’m overdue to post a big huge congratulations to my wife and her team. Heather, a supervising sound editor and sound designer, along with Advantage Audio colleagues Robbie Smith, J Lampinen, and Roy Braverman took home a 2014 Golden Reel Award.

Happy 2013!

Please, allow me to be the absolute last to wish you all a very Happy New Year!

This year I’ve been toasting to friendships old and new, and to doing and making good things in 2013. Best wishes to you for a fantastic year.

A road map to success.

There’s certainly no sure-fire way to “make it,” and really, your definition of success might be quite different from mine. But while you can’t force success, you also can’t wait around for it to happen. There are variables you can control, and if you do the right things you can make much better odds for yourself.

The Lamp Project: the intersection of arts, artists, and social betterment.

The Lamp Project logo with web address.I recently started a not-for-profit organization called The Lamp Project, dedicated to spotlighting and supporting socially engaged artists and the causes they champion. I wore multiple hats, including ADR mixer, writer and executive producer, for the creation of some promotional videos. I hope you’ll go take a look—the first one is live on the site right now. And if being a part of an organization with a powerful mission and lots of passionate, creative people interests you, please email me: jeremy.olsen@thelampproject.net.

Thanks for for all the support from everyone!
