Just getting around to parsing the GameSoundCon 2022 experience from a few weeks ago at the Millenium Biltmore in downtown Los Angeles. It was my first time in person and couldn’t have been too much better. I learned a lot, hung out with a bunch of amazing people, and had a great time.
Along with lots of hard factual stuff, conferences like this can be a great place for higher-level inspiration, motivation, and those reminders you just wish someone could follow you around and whisper in your ear about seven times a day. I give you one of my favorites, from I-can’t-remember-what-source:
