Now that my long-malfunctioning site is behaving itself again, I’m overdue to post a big huge congratulations to my wife and her team. Heather, a supervising sound editor and sound designer, along with Advantage Audio colleagues Robbie Smith, J Lampinen, and Roy Braverman took home a 2014 Golden Reel Award from the Motion Picture Sound Editors in the “Best Sound & Music Editing: Television Animation” category for their work on Fairly Odd Parents. They deserve it—with a small team they really do a top-notch job adding to the fun and humor and energy of the show.
On a side note, Heather had THREE shows out of the eight nominees in that category, and her colleague Bob Poole had one as well. So Advantage Audio had four out of the eight! Woo-hoo!
